Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India

Query

Mr 'X' is doing a research under 'Y'. 'Y' publishes in Y's name some of the articles written by 'X'. 'Y' does not mention 'X' name anywhere in the article.

Does 'Y' entitleto do so? Can 'X' seek any legal remedy?

Re: Query

X needs to file a suit for damages. These are violation of civil rights. Criminal courts cannot help. Only civil courts can provide reliefs.

I hope I have addressed your question.
