Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Let me be clear of what i am coming to say. My wife is working in JDGFT office in Trivandrum. she is a handicapped lady. she needs assistance to even going to office and i have to help her all the time. So, i have left the job and taking care of her. what my question is in case she if she likes to retire, because she is not able to work further and i am not able to leave her and go to work, in that case we will face lot of financial crisis and we have to find a solution to this. so, if she retires in the compassionate grounds and giving the work to me is an option. is that possible. sorry i am confusing. she is not able to work further and can i get the job?

I already advised this query in different form. However, if the handicapped person retires, the same will not give rise to any claim for compassionate appointment.
