Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

Rented premises
We are staying in two rooms on rental basis with family since last 58yrs. in south mumbai. The building belong to a trust.My father used to write surname as GUPTA .hENCE THE RENT BILLS WERE IN THE NAME OF MY FATHER AS s. Gupta since 1953. later part of his life he and all of us (CHILDREN)started using our generic surname as JHUNJHUNWALLA BUT RENT BILLS STILL COME TO US with surname as GUPTA only.My father died in 1982 and the death cert. is in S.Jhunjhunwalla only.My mother died in 1999 and her death cert. is with JHUNJHUNWALA only.
Now in 2003 we have submitted all the reqd. proof with relevent papers to the trust and requested trust to transfer rent bills in my name (son's name) as R.jhunjhunwala at the earlist. We have submitted reminders also and requested the trustees again & again to take corrective action but they are not putting any heed to it. We are regularly paying the full rents and still getting bills with NAME & surname as S. GUPTA.
Under such situation , pl. advise me course of action to be taken.
We will be highly obliged.

Obtain an acknowledgement on a letter that you have submitted necessary documents for name change from the trust.
