Legal Question in Real Estate Law in

Bought property in 2006 and last month when I went to construct in the property a person came up with stay order claiming to be his property, stay order was taken in 2002. Ideally this information should have been published in Tehsil but there was no such information about it at the time of purchase. Till today this information is not published in Tehsil. Could you please guide us what can be done here. In tehsil the property is registered on our name with all legal documents. Regards

As per the law of Lis Pendens, you shall be bound by the orders of the court.

If you wish, you can claim price paid to the Vendor for concealing material information affecting title.

Entry or mutation in Tehsil records are for the purpose of payment of Land Revenue and does not confer any title.
