duplicate sale deeds

Dear sir

ihave taken a loan from a bank & forclosed itpaying all the dues.the bank has lost all the original deeds & documents.these includes 1)the original sale deed of the allotee from whom i have purchased the plot .2) GPA ( the plot was in the joint name of mother and daughter having a share of 50% each. the mother had taken the GPA from daughter for the purpose of sale .3)sale deed in my favour 4)all the receipts of payments made at different time to the concerned authorties. the bank has taken the following step 1) making FIR with police 2) taking certified copies of the sale deeds. 3) putting advt in thenewspapers

I would like to know

1) is this sufficient to protect my rightin the property or i have to take any more step

2)is there any way to make the documents again.

3) the bank is offering me to do the gift deed in my

wife name at their cost . is it benefit me in any way

4) some people are saying me to ask the bank for making reliquisition deed or for taking court order . what are these?

Re: duplicate sale deeds

1.Bank has taken sufficient steps to protec your rights.

2. you can apply for obtaining the doccuments by way of getting certified copies of the same from the sub registrar office.

3.By offering Gift deed, ofcourse registered Gift Deed in favour of your wife that'll protect your property more.

4.Relingquishment Deed by bank or from order of the court is'nt required.
