Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hi, My parents live seperately since 1992 and my Mom expired in Feb 2012. The House that we currently live in was on my Mother's name. But she did not have any Will nor has she filled in the Nomination form for the Property rights. We are 2 daughters.
Kindly help as to how can I have the Property named on both our names at th earliest with the least possible cost involved.
Also, because the time lost is over a year now will there be increased complications.
