Is it possible for the past landlord to file the case against another person for non payment of rent for the period after the sale deal of the property to the present landlord of the property.

The original landlord may not be entitled to receive rent after he has sold the building.

the original landlord can claim the rent for the period when he was the landlord i.e. before execution of sale deed.
