Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Property Share Transfer

Myself and my brother jointly bought a property in 2004 in Gurgaon. It has three floors. By virtue of the amounts we paid, he owns the Ground and the Second Floor and I own the First Floor.

The propoerty is registered in both our names with equal share. He now wants to safeguard himself and wants the legal right on 2/3 share on the property and it's proceeds if it is sold in future. Please let me know the easiest and cheapest solution to accomplish this.

Re: Property Share Transfer

The easiest and cheapest way is to prepare a Relinqueshment Deed for Ground and Second Floor by you in favour of your brother and by your brother for First Floor in your favour and get the same registered before Registrar. For more details or assistance, please mail at [email protected]
