Sir I want you to know my case briefly we had a property which have my late grandfather and his brothers name in 7/12
My grandfather had 2 sons and three daughters
Now can i being the grandson ask for share in the property of my grandfather althoug my father and my uncle aunts are alive and they are not so strong to go against their uncles wish to have a penny out of lacs....

you can only claim through your father only till your father is alive.

You are entitled to claim your share by filing a civil suit for partition in the local courts.
