Less Stamp
After 4 years of buying a property someone called me to say that I had paid inadequate stamp fee at the time of registration, and that now I owe the balance of Rs 21,000/- plus an interest of Rs 25,000/- which if I fail to pay my house will be sealed. Nobody told me about less stamp at that point of time, so what remedy do i have? My property is located in Sahibabad (U.P.).

You need to check limitation. If demand is within limitation, you can consider appeal or revision or review.

No body will make you a call for this. If there is any deficiency, discovered during audit, they will issue you a notice of demand. The short-fall amount may be recoverable as arrears of land revenue but they cannot seal your house for non-payment.
