Re: wrong entry in land mutation revenue record

Dear Sir/ Madam,

You can make an application for rectification of mistake before Tahasildar.

Along with application Please provide supporting documents like Registered sale deed, mutation extract showing your names (both).

If Tahasildar refuses to entertain your application prefer a writ before the Hon'ble High Court against the said refusal order.

Under the law, it is the duty of hte patwari to record every change of rights taking place wrt. any property.

You can move an application to tehsildar for rectification of mistake in hte jamabandi.

On refusal, you can move to high Court by way of writ as well.
