We are getting ready to start a

nonprofit charity. We are consideing

of incorporation and by-laws. Is there

special by-laws forms forms for non

profit?

Forming a non-profit corporation is not something one should do without an attorney. The rules to qualify as a not-for-profit are quite complex and unless Doing so can jeopardize your ability to gain not-for-profit status.

The Corporation Laws are governed by the State. You should check the corporate laws in the State where you are incorporating to see what information needs to be contained in the incorporation documents. Also, the State and Federal Tax Laws have special requirements that govern what we refer to as "501(c)(3) organizations".
