part time jewellery selling legal issue

my friend and I are planning to start jewelery selling among friends in college. we get our products from wholesale and they are not brand jewelery. We just worry that is it legal to sell among friends/classmates. Do we need to get license and report taxes such as income tax/sales tax. What if we have a facebook group and post the pictures of the jewelery that we sell, will that cause illegal issue? any advice of starting this jewelery selling?

You would have to find out whether the county or municipality requires licensing. You are obligated to collect and pay sales tax and income tax. I suggest that you consult locally with an attorney and go to the Indiana Dept. of Revenue Website. Good luck.
