You are facing 6 months to 3 years in an Indiana Department of Corrections prison for the Residential Entry which is a class D felony and zero days up to 365 days in jail for the criminal trespass which is a class A misdemeanor. The fact that it is at your mom's house is not an automatic defense and you need to discuss the surrounding facts with a competent lawyer to make sure you understand the what can happen if you are found guilty and be prepared to present your defense. When you first appear in court a Judge will read you the actual charges and go over your rights, among which is the right to have an attorney or a continuance to hire an attorney as well as an opportunity to request a court appointed attorney if you cannot afford your own attorney.
