Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Does biological father have rights

About 2 yrs ago a girl I was with got pregnant. I went back to Mexico, I got back about 2 weeks ago, she told me she had my baby and gave him up for adoption. The adoptive family's lawyer had the birthmother come in with a so called possible father to sign putiative father form. Mi signature is not on those papers she says she is 100 percent the child is mine. If he is I want him back. Do i have a chance.
