Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My ex husband is taking me to court for visitation. I have been trying to get him to visit the kids more than every 2-3 months for years. I call him and leave messages and he never calls back. He doesn't call to talk to them and then after 2-3 months of not hearing from him they don't want to see him. They are confused. I have never denied visitation. He calls and says he will see them one weekend and we never hear from him. Our youngest daughter is in therapy because she doesn't think he loves her. I cannot believe I need to get a lawyer because he is acting childish.
