Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I live in Indiana. My exhusband has moved 25miles farther away. He is insistent that I take the kids to him at his new home tonight--which will be over a 2 hour trip (round trip)--it used to be 45 minutes. He never filed the notice of intent to move--never sent me a certified letter. What are my rights? I don't want to drive up there during the week at all honestly.

This depends on the exacty wording of your decree. If your decree requires an equal split, then you have to ask the court to modify the decree. If the decree simply adopts the parenting time guidelines, and there is a disagreement, then you still have to ask the court to modify, or wait until he files a contempt action. Ask yourself an obvious question: "If I had to move 25 miles away, would I think it fair that my ex not split the driving with me?" Then proceed accordingly.
