Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Hello. My mother and father just divorced. My father doesn't not have to pay child suport and I am 19 and a freshman at college. My father was abusive to both my mother and myself. Is there any way I can make the court change their mind? Can I charge Child Abuse even though I am 19 years old?

Your mother can petition the court for child support and contribution to educational expenses. If you are the victim of a crime, take the information to your local prosecutor's office, who can decide whether it is worth prosecuting.
