Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Parental liability of 21 yr old

My son is 21 yrs. old, his car is registered in his name as is his car insurance. He attends college and lives in an apartment. We do help with college expenses and claim him on our tax return. If he should get into a car accident and it's his fault and he gets sued, can we be held liable as well? Thank youl.

I think that it would be a stretch to hold you liable under the circumstances that you described.
