Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Paternity testing

There is a girl who has applied for state aid and has named my son as a potential father of her child. My son is in the Navy. We do not believe the child is his. Will they track him to the Navy, and what are the potential ramifications?

There is a federal statute called the "Soldiers and Sailors Act" which forbids an action against your son so long as he is on actice duty in the military and stationed out of state. If they file suit you need to notify the court by letter of his military status.
