Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

I had a fence contractor come to my house on Friday. I had to leave on a business trip for the weekend and they did this while I was gone. They knew I would be gone all weekend. They tripped my circuit breaker with their tools and it just so happens my garage freezer was on the same circuit. They didn't call me or anything and left it tripped. I came home Tuesday to find blood all over my garage floor and $500 dollars of meat ruined. Who is at fault here? If they would have at least called I could have had a neighbor go inside and untrip it. Please help.

You can write to them, but that probabaly wont work. You may end up in small claims court.
