Neighbor claims his window was broke by lawnman
My house is not occupied and is currently on the market to be sold. My dad mows the lawn every Sat. One day I found a letter from my neighbor claiming that a rock was thrown by the lawnmower and shattered a second floor window of his house. I didn't want to contact my neighbor yet to see if he took pictures or made a police report without asking around for advice first. He's claiming it cost him $390.00. What should my first step be? Contact him?

You did not indicate whether your lawnmower did kick a rock up. I suggest that any inquiry begons there.
