Marriages laws about insurance.

When you get married, can you still depend on your parents for financial support? Can you still use the same insurance company or do you have to start all over since you're no longer under their control?

Re: Marriages laws about insurance.

When you get married state law provides that you are emncipated because of marriage.

We are assuming your question relates to your automovile insurance. You can get new insurance,

but beware, if the car on your parents name they migth still be liable for your actions

in said car, so change it to your name.

Hope this information was useful, good luck!
