Unimployment Insurance Appeals
I applied for unemployment insurance, and after being denied, appealing, and being denied again I have one more chance with the review board. I quit my job to move to Indianapolis from South Bend and because of that I was told that I voluntarily quit without good cause in connection with the work and my case was suspended. I feel that I did leave with good cause, I did not state this in my appeal because I did not think it was relevant, this being my first time applying, but I was also having health related problems. I was very tired at the end of the day and often my eyes burned because of the smoke from the burning polyurethane foam we used. I never visited the doctor because I did not believe it was to that severe. This and the fact that I was moving over 140 miles away from the place of business led to my decision to quit.

I suggest you contact an employment attorney or a worker's compensation attorney. Employers have obligations to have safe workplaces for employees, inlcluding safety from chemicals.
