Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

Age discrimination

I am 55 years old and was told by a potential new manager that I would not be selected for his team because ''We would need someone younger.'' I am a consultant.

This was a phone conversation. Do I need to have this in writing before I file a complaint with the EEOC? Hopefully, it will not get that far.

Re: Age discrimination

Having it in writing is certainly helpful, but you can bring a Charge with EEOC without it. If you need more information, feel free to contact me at [email protected].
