Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

I was terminated from my job for time missed due to cancer and subsequent treatment for nerve damage caused by operations. Medical excuses were provided for EVERY absence for last 3 years. My employer attempted to deny my unemployment stating that they had just cause. Unemployment ruled in my favor stating that there was no just cause for termination. I have numerous doctors who have and are willing to testify as to the damage to my health both medically and mentally that their harassment caused me to sustain. (such as calling me while they knew i was having surgery and was in the recovery room and saying i had to have called them by 4 or would be fired. (despite still being under FMLA coverage at that time). I did not get the message until 4:30pm on a friday, when i came to after surgery). Also i was denied my short term disability pay (that i paid a premium for monthly for years) during that time due to human resources incompetence. (i returned to work for approximately a year prior to termination).

I have a majority of this in writing, little discretion or knowledge for labor laws was shown.

I know I have some kind of suit but do not know what kind or where to start pursuing. For I also have an email that was sent to 3 different companies' employees stating i had been fired. (not that i was no longer employed there, but that they had terminated me.)

So much more other violations. Not sure what is important or what is worth it. Have numerous individuals who are willing to testify or what is needed, some still employed others not.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your time,

Xenia V. Hastings
