Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Indiana

My friend lives with her boyfriend and he asked her to move out. She pays rent to him and also pays utilities (it's his house and she and her child live there.) He wants her out immediately-- does she have to move?

She has a month to month tenancy and therefore, he needs to give her a thrity day notice. He can then file for eviction if she has not moved out. If she fails to pay rent, she can be evicted earlier.
