Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Indiana

My mother in laws boyfriend bought a house for us over a year ago now we pay the motgage every month and all utilities. My mother in law has passed away and now the boyfriend wants to kick us out for no reason at all. The house is in his name. Do I have to uproot me and my 6 kid\'s after he promised all of us we\'de never have to move again? Do I have a leg to stand on here there\'s no lease or anything we give the money to him and he pay\'s the morgage.. PLEASE HELP... It\'s a verbal agreement.

You need to consult with an attorney. Although purchases of real estate are required to be in writing, there are exceptions to the rule and you may fit that exception. More facts are needed and possibly a little research. You can expect to pay a retainer, but there is a chance that you can stay.
