Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Indiana
my roomate refuses to pay all his rent for the last month of the lease because he feels my new girlfriend is here all the time and she should pay1/3 of all the bills here.. can he do that?? i buy everything we need here like cleaning products ,bathroom products and even do all the cleaning and i pay an extra $30 a month because my bedroom is a little bigger then his!!!my girlfriend is pregnant and does not work full time and leaves on the weekend to help her mom clean her home and her mom pays her for the help.she just started staying the last couple weeks and this is the last month on the lease with my roomate and we plan to get the lease in our names after he leaves what kind of advice do you have for me??
