Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

Apartment Lease Agreement

I'm moving to North Carolina in July '07, because I accepted a job offer from another company. This will require me to break my apartment lease in Indiana. According to my lease agreement, It will cost me 2 months rent to break my lease. A friend told me that Indiana has a state law that exempts people from paying a penalty to break an apartment lease, if they move a significant number of miles, because of a new job. Is my friend correct? Do I still have to pay 2 months rent?
