Divorce and Property Taxes on a Home

My husband and I were recently divorced. I purchased our home from him. Everything is now in my name. Property taxes have since come due. These are taxes due from the previous year, of which he lived there the entire year. I feel he is responsible for half these taxes. He refuses the pay. Am I responsible for these taxes?
