Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

Bought a house

Hi, I purchased a home that has a Raze Order against it, and I received a special warranty deed on iton the 19th of February, I attended court on the 21st in an attempt to save the home and met an assesor on the 6th of March to view the inside of the home. The condition is not as described and I was not told prior to contract that the home has a Raze Order on it. I have been trying to find ways to repair the home but the damage is far beyond that desribed prior to purchase, I bought it blind. Do I have any legal right to drop the home or cancel the deed, espcecially since it has not been filed with the city or state where the home was purchased? Thank you for your time

Jon

Re: Bought a house

If a you did not receive an Indiana Disclosure form at the time of the contract and purchase you might be able to sue to rescind the contract. You should contact an attorney in the county where the house was purchased.
