Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

left out of my fathers will

My father left a will giving his entire estate to his ex-wife. His property (land) is only in his name. As one of his two children do I have any claim on this property?

Re: left out of my fathers will

Ex-spouses cannot inherit under a will UNLESS the will was created AFTER the divorce. Get the facts and contact a local attorney experienced in probate law. If the will was made while your father was still married to his ex-wife, then you and your siblings will inherit. Good luck.
