Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

trustee

trust stated equal 3 way split, share and share alike. Me my brother and my sister.Brother-in-law is trustee,we were never close. I was not included in going through my parents personal belongings, or the division of them. I have not seen any of my parents legal or financial papers except the trust. Do I have a case againt my brother-in law, as trustee for not showing me fair and equal treatment? What are my options?

Re: trustee

He has a fiduciary duty as trustee to distribute trust assets according to the trust. If he is not doing this, you can call the Probate Court where you live and they will tell you what to do. You can petition the court to contest the trust distribution or to see the trust. Depending on the county, you may or may not need an attorney to do that.
