Legal Question in Technology Law in Iowa

If my friend gave me her facebook password and told me to go on it and change something a while back can i get in trouble for changing that password and the email that goes with it? she gave me complete access to her facebook

It would probably depend on your reason for making these changes. I suppose it could be construed as fraud or identity theft, depending on the purpose you have for changing this information. This might also violate the website's terms of service.
