Legal Question in Construction Law in Iowa

I work in the wind power industry. I live in Odessa ,Tx but my job requires me to travel all over the U S for extended periods of time. At this moment I have been Iowa for almost six weeks. I am an inspector for the construction of wind turbines. I test concrete, soils, roads inspect rebar ect. Most of the constuction workers on the site that Im on now recieved a check today for wages that they were, under the Davis Baker Act. owed for the work they had done last year. I did not work in Iowa last year but, I have been for the last 6 weeks. My question is as an inspector for an engineering firm that makes $15.50 per hour. Do I qualify for more money per hour and if so how much? My companny also has some of us working in the state of Oregan. They are doing geotechnical work for the pre-constuction phases of a large wind farm there. They also have not recieved a raise in pay. Are they owed more money?

Are you saying that you think you should be paid more? There's no law that sets out the hourly rate for roving wind farm inspectors.

Pay is a matter of negotiation between yourself and your employer.
