Legal Question in Consumer Law in Iowa

I purchased a salad at a local restuarant. After taking the salad home and eating approximately one half of it, I noticed there was a latex glove in the salad. I took the salad back to show the restuarant manager, she apoligized. She had the Director of Opertations call me, he said all he could do was apoligize, but, what was I looking for. I said I cant answer that, I am going to get tested for Hepititus, HIV and ecoli. I, or someone, would be talking to them. Do I have grounds for a lawsuit?

Yes, but expect to have every detail of your life examined with a fine tooth comb, and if there's anything hokey about your story at all it'll come out and that's when the trouble will really start.
