It is almost impossible to give a definitive answer to the question regarding the search warrant without a complete review of the warrant and the application. You should consult with an attorney. That being said, it probably does not matter whether or not the person that provided the information to law enforcement was at the gathering without permission. Regarding your second question, anyone can file a complaint with their local law enforcement office and then they will evaluate whether to pursue an investigation and charges.
