Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

When dealing with a divorce in Iowa and which spouse can claim which child on their income tax returns, would "so-and-so can claim child one on their tax return for year 20xx and every other year thereafter" refer to said adult being able to claim child one on EVERY years tax return (every other year meaning every ADDITIONAL year) or would said adult only be able to claim child one biannually? There is no further specification in the divorce papers except that said adult would lose rights to claim any child on their tax return if they were in default of paying child support and their ex would be allowed to file tax returns for child one and child two.
