Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Divorce Decree not getting filed

Is there a certain period of time in Iowa that you have to have a final decree filed with the court before you have to start the legal process over again. My divorce was filed in January and everything was agreed on through mediation. The divorce should have been final several months ago, but still hasn't been filed. Both attorneys keep blaming the other for holding things up and there is no reason to since we agreed on everything. It just needs a final decree filed. What can I do and is there a certain amount of time before the court will make us restart the process?

Thank you for your help!

It sounds to me like you all need to light a fire under your respective attorneys.
