Legal Question in Immigration Law in Iowa

I'm a US citizen and my boyfriend is a British citizen. I recently found out I'm pregnant. We were planning on getting married in the future even before we found out I was pregnant. He wants to live here with me and his child. How do we do this?

You need to be married in order to petition and sponsor your boyfriend for a green card/permanent residency in USA.

Do you work?

Is he in USA? If yes, on what visa/status?

If he is in the United Kingdom, you will want to apply for a K-1 fiancee visa on his behalf.
