Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa

I recently returned to work from maternity leave and as I am still breastfeeding my child I need a place to express my milk during work. My company is undergoing a remodel right now so the office I had been using was no longer available. One of my supervisors told me to pump in the bathroom or go home (my home is across town), as that was not an option for me I turned to my other supervisor and was instructed to pump in a cluster of cubicles which was surrounded by men. I attempted to pump facing the wall so now one could see but that led to some serious sexual harassment by one of my co workers. I informed my supervisor what was said to me and that pumping surrounded by men was not going to work and I was sent home until the remodel is done. I know state and federal law requires employers to provide a private space, not a bathroom, for expressing breast milk and also sufficient time to do so.

My question is: what do I do now? Is there any action I can take against the company? My supervisor was supposed to call me two days ago to discuss what happened but no call has came. I feel that I am being punished because I want to breastfeed my son. Because the company failed to follow federal law and provide a safe, private place for me to pump, I was subjected to sexual harassment. Is the ANYTHING for me to do?

I'd hardly call it sexual harassment but it is a workplace issue. I suggest you contact an attorney who practices in employment law.
