Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa

I currently work in an office and have been seeing the owner of the business. He was going to leave his wife and we were going to start a life. He changed his mind and decided to stay with his wife. Now that they are getting back together. His wife wants to fire me and I don't feel she should have a right to do that. Do I have any rights that can stop this situation.
