Legal Question in Personal Injury in Iowa

Loss of finger in hunting accident, all fault accepted by other party

My right index finger was removed just before the first knuckle(75% of finger), resulting from a gunshot wound while hunting. The man who shot me and his insurance company take full responsiblility of fault. I would like a figure for settlement if possible. I am 18 years old and right handed. I realize a figure is not easy to come up with so any sources of information you could give me to find out what a reasonable settlement would be is grealty appreciated.

Much more information is needed, and research into other verdicts concerning this type of injury should be done before anyone gives you an answer you can count on as correct. I would want to know how it affects your overall grip strength, possibility of future complications, your possible carreers, pianist, computer operator, orthodontist, your past medical bills, your reasonably expected future medicals, how many procedures have you gone thru/ BASICALY WATCH OUT FOR THE QUICK ANSWER !!
