Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa

A guy assulted me, he does some some personal items (chairs, free weights) in my garage. What should I do from a legal standpoint. He does have a warrent for his arrest and I really don't want him on my property.

Rent a storage locker for one month, put the stuff in storage and send him the key. Then it;s not your problem any more.
