Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa

I got behind in my house payments. 3 months I then paid 2 months worth and they cashed the check but did not credit my account. I then sent 2 more partial payments in the following weeks which they returned to me. With notice from an attorney that I was is forclosure status can they legally state Im behind when they had the funds.

A foreclosure is the same thing as being sued. Since you have made partial payment that was not creditred to your account you have the basis of a cou8nterclaim. I suggest you obtain legal representation to secure your interests.
