Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

using my child against me

My sons' mother is tring to ''give'' custody to her parents. She doesn't want him but doesn't want me to have him even more. What rights does she have to try and prove that I am an unfit father, if I have always paid my child support and never had any physical problems with my son. She has also on numerous times refused to let me see my son. We have gone as far as to have ''grandma'' call to get him, just so I call spend time with my boy. Please Help me...I will not lose my son.
