modify child support

my ex wife and i have shared custody of our five year old son. he spends more then fifty percent of his time at my house and i pay all medical dental and visual insurance and my ex gets to claim him on her taxes. i have been paying half of preschool costs to my ex in the amount of 300 monthly he is now attending public school and we agree to change support to 0 will our state do that and what petition do we need to file.

I assume the court of 'original jurisdiction' is in KS? If so, contact an aty, tell him or her your agreement; have them prepare a child support work sheet setting forth your agreement and that you pay $300 toward preschool costs. No court will deny that if the two of u are in agreement. You must present the child support worksheet, however. Any domestic counsel can handle that for u. Good luck.
