Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

I will be sending my daughter to live with her grandparents in Kansas for a while. We are Kansas residents born and raised there, I'm temporarily living in texas. I have sole custody of her and no contact with her biological father since I was pregnant with her. I need to know what my parents need from me, a letter perhaps stating I give them permission to make decisions for her and have it notarized? I don't want to give them custody, it's just a temporary living arrangement for her. What do you recommend me doing?

Have a Kansas attorney draft a temporary care authorization for you.

Good luck
