My grandmother died 4 years ago and her will has not gone thru probate. The admin on the estate is not supply any info at all. Is there a way for me to find out if my siblings and I are listed as heirs and then what our next step would be to move this estate into probae?

Re: Will and probate

If this is a WA probate, if there is an administrator for the estate, it would suggest that there was no will filed in probate. If there is no will, the intestate rules apply, in which case her spouse would get the estate, and if she had no spouse then her children would take in equal shares. If there was a will the title of the person handling the estate is executor/executrix/personal representative. If the will is filed you can obtain a copy from the superior court clerk's office. I can't speak to the rules of a KS probate.
